The Coastal Texas Project continues to move forward — and it may look different than you remember.
Join the Gulf Coast Protection District and Economic Alliance Houston Port Region for GCPD 101: Understanding the Coastal Texas Project ("Ike Dike"), an information session for community leaders interested in learning how the project has evolved beyond earlier concepts. This session will cover recent progress, how GCPD works collaboratively and invites your feedback as the project moves forward, and how large-scale infrastructure and nature-based solutions are working together to strengthen storm protection along the upper Texas coast.
Attendance is limited for this invitation-only event. Each invited office may register up to two (2) representatives. Advance registration is required.
If you are unable to attend but are interested, please let us know and we will make sure to include you in an upcoming GCPD 101 session this summer.
